Prison Break: Good Fences

Posted by blackhat on October 8th, 2007
Lincoln and Michael(S03E04) "I don't need to know how to change a diaper to know when it stinks to high hell." - BellickWell there you have it. "What's in the box" turned out to be what we all expected. For those that thought there was still a glimmer of hope that we might see more of Dr. Sara Tancredi this season, you can stop holding your breath. I suggest reading that link (it's from Ausiello over at TV Guide) with an open mind. You'll know what I mean after you skim through it. Anyway, upon opening up his little gift from The Company, Lincoln saw the worst -- Sara's head neatly wrapped up in some decorative tissue paper.

The CW to end Kids WB! in 2008

Posted by blackhat on October 8th, 2007
Say goodbye to Shaggy, Scooby, And Batman. Kids WB! leaves the airways in 2008For many of us the rite of passage that was Saturday morning cartoons died years ago. The following news just puts a final nail in its coffin.Last week The CW announced that it was dropping the 13-year-old Kids WB! franchise at the end of this season. Replacing it will be content from 4Kids Entertainment, which has been providing FOX with Saturday morning programming for the last six years. Leasing the space made "the most business sense" according to Bruce Rosenblum of Warner Brothers TV Groups. Despite high ratings, Kids WB! was losing viewers to cable networks like Nickelodeon. Currently, only 10 staffers remain with Kids WB!. A spokesperson for The CW said that they would try to find new positions for these people at the network.

Desperate Housewives: Now You Know (season premiere)

Desperate Housewives(S04E01) "No more secrets. From now on, we tell every shocking details of our lives." - LynetteThe ladies of Wisteria Lane are back and it's certain that they won't follow through on the promise they made to each other to not keep secrets! The Season Three finaleDesperate Housewives of may not have been the most cliffhanger-y out there, but still, fans (I include myself in the lot) were wondering what was in store for the ladies and their men this upcoming season. But most importantly, we wanted to know if Edie survived her suicide attempt.

Family Guy: Movin’ Out (Brian’s Song)

Posted by blackhat on September 30th, 2007
Family Guy logo(S06E02) This is the 100th episode of Family Guy (if the three edited-for-TV episodes of Stewie Griffin: the Untold Story are counted). Not bad for a show that was canceled for a few years. The plot involves Brian moving in with his vapid sometimes-girlfriend Jillian (voiced by Drew Barrymore). Stewie then joins them to help with the rent. Meanwhile, Meg gets a job at a convenience store and helps Chris get a job there which leads to bad repercussions.
