Vick’s HS removes jersey from trophy case

Posted by blackhat on October 10th, 2007
Michael Vick's old jersey has been removed from his high school's trophy case because of his conviction on a federal dogfighting charge. The suspended NFL quarterback played for two seasons at Warwick High School from 1996-97 before going on to stardom Virginia Tech and being drafted first overall by the Atlanta Falcons in 2001. In August, he pleaded guilty to the federal charge, admitting that he helped kill six to eight dogs, and will be sentenced Dec. 10.
