The Colorado Rockies late-season surge set up one wild finish. The Rockies will face San Diego in a one-game tiebreaker for the NL wild-card spot, forcing the playoff with a 4-3 win Sunday over the NL West champion Arizona Diamondbacks. A single by Matt Holliday set up the Rockies' go-ahead, three-run burst in the eighth inning, then closer Manny Corpas held off Arizona's two-run rally in the ninth. Family Guy logo(S06E02) This is the 100th episode of Family Guy (if the three edited-for-TV episodes of Stewie Griffin: the Untold Story are counted). Not bad for a show that was canceled for a few years. The plot involves Brian moving in with his vapid sometimes-girlfriend Jillian (voiced by Drew Barrymore). Stewie then joins them to help with the rent. Meanwhile, Meg gets a job at a convenience store and helps Chris get a job there which leads to bad repercussions.

The Simpsons: Homer of Seville

Placido Domingo, who guest stars on this week's episode of The SImpsons(S19E02) Mr. Burns: My boy, you are a star! Homer: Whoo-Hoo! Burns: An opera star! Homer: Oh. We're back to the silly in this week's episode of The Simpsons as another bodily injury gives Homer an advantage in life. I'm surprised that this is the second Homer-centric episode in a row. Usually, the producers are good at going around the Simpsons circuit to focus on another family member or the group as a whole from one week to the next. Maybe my surprise is due to the fact that I haven't been a regular on the Simpsons boat for the last few seasons.

In a country all too familiar with soccer hooligans, the fight on the ice between the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings on Sunday proved the main attraction . The Ducks won 4-1 in the second game of the NHL's season-opening series in London, but it was the fisticuffs many fans came to see. Ducks winger George Parros and Kings forward Scott Thornton provided the entertainment in the second period, dropping their gloves near center ice and pounding each other while the crowd stood and roared.
